Henry Ssonko shows his store inventory. TentMaker Profile: Henry Ssonko

Henry is a deacon at the Presbyterian Church in Nakitokolo, Uganda. Although he is single, he has a family to support because his sister’s husband died. He makes a living by running a household goods store in an 8’x10’ room. The TentMaker Project helped him increase his stock with a loan of $200 and it yielded great results: Within a year he had paid off his loan and used his profits and prior savings to start building a combination home and store for himself. With a new loan of $200 for inventory, he hopes to complete the building and then ... marriage!
