Micro Enterprise Development Through the Church
What can the oldest daughter do when her father is too sick to work and she has nine younger siblings? That was Grace Nakaaye’s challenge. She was already providing income to the family by teaching full-time at a Chrisitan elementary school, but the income was not enough. The TentMaker Project got Grace to thinking and praying. She applied for a $350 loan to develop a household goods store - and got it. Now, one sister runs the store while Grace teaches at the Christian school, and family needs are met!
