Educational Assistance

Christian School run by Nakitokolo Presbyterian Church.Overview:

Educational assistance is given a limited number of individuals in Uganda who are essentially without full family support. Uganda does not have a free public school system like the United States does, so children who cannot afford to pay for education do not get to go to school. Funds are raised on a case-by-case basis for specific individuals. One man, who is handicapped, is being helped through college in Kampala. A widow’s four children are assisted through primary school, and several needy children have been given one-time help, such as an injured Sudanese refugee orphan boy who lives in Kampala. And also, a young man without family support is working his way through Bible College with our support.

The goal is to take a pro-active role in helping the helpless within the Church become educated, self-supporting, prosperous and themselves able to contribute to the needs of others. (Eph 4:28)

Potential supporters can indicate their interest, and over time these or other individuals who need help can be assigned to them for prayer and financial assistance for education.
